Hazardous Waste Collection for Residents on Oct 2, 2021 8am-noon

Join Yavapai County and the City of Sedona at Sedona City Hall for a free household hazardous waste and electronics collection day.

Location: Sedona City Hall  102 Roadrunner Dr., Sedona

Be prepared to show a driver’s license and one utility bill for proof of residence in unincorporated Yavapai County.

No latex paint or commercial business waste will be accepted.

Waste accepted:  Aerosol paints and spray products, antifreeze, batteries except for lead acid or any other vehicle battery, tube TVs, flatscreen TVs, desktop and laptop computers, radios, phones, e-readers, mp3 players, game systems, gasoline, household cleaners, kerosene, light bulbs, pesticides, pool chemicals, standard grill and camping propane tanks, oil-based paints, stains, solvents, thinners and adhesives.
Waste not accepted:  Ammunition and fireworks, car or other vehicle batteries (return to auto supply stores), commercial business waste, explosives, compressed gas cylinders other than propane, such as oxygen, acetylene, etc., latex paints (use hardener or kitty litter to solidify and dispose with regular trash), medical waste or prescription drugs (take expired pills to Sedona Police Department), motor oil and oil filters (return used motor oil to garages or auto supply stores), radioactive materials including smoke detectors, tires of any kind, any other material or items not mentioned as acceptable above.
Sedona Recycles accepts electronics for recycling year-round for a small donation.
